This is a free eight-week course that is designed to help you improve strength and reduce the risk of falling. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 am -12 pm, starting on September 14 – November 4. This class is for participants who have already registered. We are not accepting any new participants for this class. Classes will be hosted by Gia Ramsey, an Injury Prevention/Education Outreach Coordinator at Maimonides Medical Center. Each session will include a warm-up, guidance through one or two new Tai Chi movements, and a cool-down period. Throughout the series, we will be building to a full 12-movement combination. Modifications will be available for those with mobility issues. How to Sign Up for this Course:
