We are changing our name, not our health plans!

The name of the organization we belong to has changed. In the coming months, we’ll be changing our name, too. But we’ll still be the same health plan with the same benefits, services and high quality you know and trust.

Why the Name Change?

We want to make it easier for people to understand that our organization has different parts, all focused on health. That’s why we are bringing all those services together to include one phrase: VNS Health.

When will the name of my plan change?

The new name is rolling out in stages over the coming months. Our members will receive letters letting them know what the name of their plan will be and when the change will happen.

Can I still use my same ID card?

Yes, continue to use your ID card and get care the same way you always have. When the name of your plan changes in the future, you will get a new ID card to use.

Can I keep my doctors?

Yes, you will still be able to use the same doctors, hospitals, and other providers in our network.

I have a procedure scheduled. Does the name change affect that?

No! Only our name is changing. Your doctor will follow the same process to make sure your procedure will be covered by your plan.

Will I have the same care manager? Will the same people answer the phone?

Yes! The same great people will be part of your care team, working to keep you healthy. They will be here to answer your questions and help you get the care you need.

The way we work together isn’t changing. Follow your usual processes for claims, authorizations, payments, and other transactions.

Will I need to sign a new agreement to stay in the network?

No. While we will be known by a new name in the market, our legal name is staying the same. For that reason, new agreements won’t be needed.

Will your email or website addresses change?

Yes, starting in fall 2022 we will use “” for emails. Please note that any email sent to our “” email addresses will be redirected to our new email address – so no email will be lost. Our health plan website URL will change in October to Because we know many people have bookmarked pages and forms on our current website, the most used pages will route automatically to the new website pages and forms. You’ll then be able to update your bookmarks, so they go directly to our new website.

Can we get samples of the new member ID cards?

Yes. We will post samples of the new ID cards in the healthcare professionals section of our website and share them in our electronic provider newsletter. If you don’t receive the provider newsletter you can sign up here.
